2024 Individual Revenue Survey

The 2nd edition of the Individual Revenue Survey (2023 revenues) is closed! Thank you to everyone who participated, and shared the survey within your networks. Your support helped us exceed our goal of reaching over 500 people! Your responses give CWC a better understanding of the economic condition of artists and cultural workers across Canada which helps to better support our advocacy work in strengthening the sector.

Results will be available no later than Winter 2026 and will be sent to all respondents.

Four-year report

CWC is hosting a meeting with Canadian Post-secondary education (PSE) institutions whose students have participated in the Student Work Placement program (SWP). As part of the SWP program, reports, monitoring, and surveys are conducted with participants to gather data and feedback to understand the effectiveness of the placement and the study programs across the country. Using that information, CWC has put together a short presentation about the PSE feedback from students and employers that have taken part in the program.

Upon reading the entirety of employer feedback and looking at the key-words that appear most often, we can see that there are some items that appear frequently. In this case, communication and various forms of management have been key development opportunities for interns.” (Table #17)
